BWT 25 years
The production “Cirque de l’Eau” for the company BWT, which specializes in water technologies, as part of the company’s 25th anniversary, won the “Global Event Award” in the “Corporate Event” category in 2016.
Background
I was part of the artistic ensemble and jointly responsible for the realization of this unique production.
The task
A vision for many global teams
Based on the central importance of water for the BWT brand, we developed the concept of “Cirque de l’Eau”, an artistic and multimedia project that is exclusively dedicated to the element of water. The aim was to create an atmosphere of vitality, energy, purity, balance and metamorphosis, which are closely linked to BWT’s values.
In addition to the technical conception, my task in the production was, in cooperation with the artistic director Beda Percht, the staging of the technical aspects of the artistic acts and the implementation as a live director during the event.
Realization
Cirque de l´Eau
The event was divided into three acts and eleven scenes that show the versatility of water and its importance for life.
The story of the “Elixir of Life” was conveyed by a narrator, “Gush,” and a child, “Elsbeth.” They led the audience through a captivating performance that combined dance, acrobatics and multimedia elements.

The “Cirque de l’Eau” event was a complete success. Not only did it exceed customer BWT’s expectations in terms of originality and artistic quality, it also left a lasting impression on guests.
The combination of high-profile performances, innovative technology and a profound message that emphasized the importance of water in life made BWT’s 25th anniversary an unforgettable experience
