Palfinger Loader Crane

The production of the “Loader Crane” for the Palfinger company, as part of the product launch of their latest truck-mounted crane, is inspiring international partners and customers.

Background

Palfinger AG, headquartered in Bergheim (Salzburg/Austria), is a listed technology and mechanical engineering company and a provider of hydraulic crane and lifting solutions.

The company, founded in 1932 in Schärding, Upper Austria, became known for its articulated boom cranes mounted on trucks.

With 150 models of this product alone, Palfinger holds 35 percent of the global market and is considered the world market leader.

I was part of the artistic ensemble and jointly responsible for the realization of this unique production.

The task

Staging the future

The artistic director of the production, Beda Percht, commissioned me to create costumes and specially made magnetic lighting elements in order to include the crane to be presented as an “actor” in the performance.

In addition to the technical aspects of production, I was also responsible for the musical arrangement of the act and as production manager.

Realization

Loader Crane

The product presentation by the renowned crane manufacturer Palfinger offered the opportunity to realize this futuristic production in the garden of Klessheim Castle.

Machines and artists were staged together to share the story and vision of Palfinger’s future direction with its partners and customers.

Results

MOMENTS that count & impressions that last.

In addition to the elaborate staging and extensive documentation of the performance, the product presentation was a complete success for the client.

The invited guests were impressed by the sophisticated technology and the seamless staging of the loading crane.
